Merry Christmas!!!!!!!! We are pretty excited about Christmas, and were excited about being able to put up our Nativity Scene :)
So...back to Thanksgiving...we know, we're slackers, and haven't posted anything for about a month...it's been busy. So here's catch up on the fun we've had since then!We went to San Francisco to visit with Krista's sister Sarah and her family, with Krista's entire family packed into their house! So fun! One of the highlights was on the day after Thanksgiving we were outside throwing around the football and one of Krista's brothers got the ball stuck in this tree! We had quite the time getting it out...it was honestly hilarious! We all couldn't stop laughing. This is Josh, standing on top of Sarah's exterra with a broom trying to reach the football (and trying not to hit down the huge rock we had thrown up that got stuck while trying to get the ball down).
Then TJ decided he had some sweet hops and jumped to grab the branch....and broke it! Haha! This is him, victorious, with the rock in hand :)
This is us riding on BART (Bay Area Rail Train) with Anna. The first day we were there we went into the city to have some fun.
Josh and Christian riding the BART, having a fabulous time.
We decided that China Town would be a fun place to walk around, so here it is!
While we were in China Town, Anna and Krista found a frog....hoping it's a prince?!
And we rode on the trolley/cable cars! It was a fun ride, and a great way to see lots of San Francisco.
Us in San Francisco, with the cable cars in the background.
Another day we went into the city and did lots of fun things, including walking across the Golden Gate Bridge! It was super fun, and kind of crazy to see how high it really is. It is 210 feet above the water!
This is how excited my mom was to walk on the bridge. Pure joy. Love you mom!
Us with the Golden Gate Bridge. So tourist/post card.
These are some cool facts about the bridge itself. Don't know if you can read 'em...but you can click on the picture and hopefully make it big enough to read.
Fun on the bridge :)
After the bridge we went down to Fisherman's Wharf, to Pier 39 and got some yummy clam chowder in sourdough bowls! Mmmm, so tasty.
Walking on Fisherman's Wharf.
And what would a trip to San Francisco be without Ghiradelli Square? We went and got free samples, and yummy ice cream and hot chocolate. They have some seriously good things here :)
The Saturday night before we left was the first night they lit the lights at the Oakland temple, so we went up to see! This is us, with San Francisco in the background.
This is a view of the lights and the temple. So pretty.
It was also fun because Angie served her mission here, so she told us all about the temple, and we got a tour of the visitor's center, and it was just fun to see her so excited about being back in her mission :)
The whole family at the temple!
