Washington, here we come!

We are moving to Washington! TJ has an internship in the tri-cities in eastern Washington with Bechtel Construction. It is an AMAZING internship. And TJ's pretty amazing for getting it. There were between 85 and 100 people that applied just for that position! Great work TJ! We're very excited to get up there and find out what our summer is going to be like! We will be coming back to Provo in the fall for TJ's last year of school. We leave tomorrow morning for our new adventure! We're super excited!

This past weekend we were on the west coast of Washington for Whitney's (TJ's sister) wedding. We had a blast! We did lots of fun things and a lot of wedding things as well. It was a non-stop weekend, but definitely fun.

Shooting was a definite must.

Kaeli's last day of school was on Friday and her Friday tradition has been that she gets an ice cream cone at Dairy Dan's. She really wanted to get a large, so on the last day she was allowed to. Here's her LARGE ice cream cone!
We also went riding, another must. Kaeli was on her 4-wheeler, I rode a 4-wheeler and TJ rode his dirt bike. HIS dirt bike, which he hasn't been able to ride because it's been in pieces in the shop. In 2007 TJ's home town got flooded really bad, and TJ's bike was completely underwater. His dad was nice enough to spend a lot of time rebuilding his bike. When TJ heard his bike fire up (he didn't know his dad was getting it out for him) his face just lit up. I don't think I've ever seen him so excited! He was definitely a happy happy boy!
I didn't get a picture while we were riding, but I did get one the day after. Gotta document the bike!
Presenting Ryan and Whitney DeCoria! The wedding was awesome. Perfect weather. Cutest couple. They are so happy, it's adorable.
We took a few pictures outside on the temple grounds while we were waiting for other pictures to be taken :)

And that's a wrap! We'll be sure to post more when we get up to Washington :) Wish us luck!

Highlights

Here are some highlights of the past few weeks/month

TJ competed at Regionals in Austin, Texas! He jumped his personal best in outdoor season, matching his personal best from indoors at 17 ft. 1 inch. Awesome job! I'm so proud of him. Way to go, babe!
While I was in Canada for my friend's wedding TJ went down and rode motorcycles with our bishop's son :) He was definitely a happy boy.

TJ had a birthday! Shout hooray! We celebrated by having people over to enjoy cupcakes, ice cream, and cakeballs.
These are cakeballs! They were the first time I attempted them, and they turned out pretty decent. Definitely room for improvement, but they're still cute, and were very yummy! I baked a cake, then crumbled it and mixed it with icing, rolled it into balls and refrigerated it, then dipped 'em in candy melts, let 'em dry and drew cute little faces on them with edible ink pens. Lots of work, yes, but they were worth it.
I may have had a little bit of fun drawing the faces...
Memorial Day weekend! TJ didn't have class that Monday and I had the option of taking the day off work, so I did! It was a beautiful day, so we took our bikes and rode up the Provo River Trail to Bridal Veil falls where we had a little picnic.

On Friday night we went out to dinner to P.F. Chang's (sooo delicious!) with our friends Chris and Emily Little and then on a bike ride. We were smarter this time and drove 2 cars, left one at the bottom, then drove to Vivian Park at the top of the Provo River Trail and rode our bikes to the bottom :) It was a lot of fun!

I'd say we've had it pretty good lately :)
