It's been a while since I blogged...so we're playing catch up a bit. I found some pictures of things I never posted about, so here they are!
The last weekend of February we went down to Utah and hung out with Chris and Emily. We went up to Park City to the Olympic memorial/museum they have up there. It was really cool! They even had a luge sled. Those things are tiny, man! I don't think I would want to be speeding down an icy track on one of those.
There were also fun little games throughout the museum. This one you had to launch the ball and see how far you could get it (like ski jumping).
Chris and TJ playing a downhill ski racing game.
Tilting games
And fun things to pose with :)
The first weekend in March we went back down to Utah to see our friends Kent and Kayla be sealed to their little boy they adopted in August! It was a beautiful experience - I am so glad we got to be there for it! Picture isn't the greatest...but this is them outside the Jordan River Temple.
The weekend after that in March (our weekends have been busy!) we drove over to Boise for the NCAA Indoor Track and Field National Championships. It was really fun! We got to see old friends from track and feel the nostalgia of track season. I miss it, but I don't. Haha. It was so great while it lasted, but it was a good time to move on as well :) Sadly we didn't take hardly any pictures that weekend...but here's the track! :)
Emily's comment reminded me that we did get one picture...Chris sent us this, and we couldn't stop laughing!
Another weekend we actually stayed in Idaho Falls (gasp!) and decided to grab some dessert from Applebee's and enjoy it by the river. It was right after TJ got back in to town from traveling, so it was really fun to just sit and chat and laugh and just be together (even though this pic is only of me...haha...it's the only one we got!)
St. Patrick's day we made green crepes for breakfast. Ignore my face - they were delicious!
One Saturday afternoon we had some gorgeous weather, so we went and fed the seagulls/ducks/geese by the river and walked around the greenbelt.
TJ was in California when it was our niece, Anna's, birthday, so he was able to go up and celebrate and eat some cake with them. So fun!
Our weekends have been really busy, and really great. We definitely try and make them that way since that's all we get these days :) More weekend updates soon...
