We have a 6 month old!! (two and a half weeks ago...I need to get caught up so I'm writing/posting all this when he's actually 6 months. I'm getting there!) At his 6 month appointment he was 16 lbs 14 oz and somewhere between 26 and 28 inches tall (don't ask). He's a healthy, growing boy!
Hunter is the sweetest little baby. He is so happy and content. Seriously so sweet. And fun :)
He is very close to sitting up on his own. He can do it...but he just gets so excited that he's doing it and goes stiff and falls backwards. He's getting pretty good, though.
He is still a champ at sleeping and eating. We introduced solid food just after he turned 6 months old. More on that next month :)
He loves to "talk" and figure out different sounds he can make at different volumes. Not full on babbling yet, but he's figured out how to say "ba" pretty well and sometimes "ma". He usually wakes up and is just talking in his crib. I love it.
His laugh is still my favorite thing ever.
It is so much fun watching him discover and learn. He is starting to get in to everything and is pretty pleased about that.

When he's in a place or around people he isn't familiar with he just kind of stares. He usually doesn't freak out and cry, he'll just take it all in and be pretty stone faced. Haha!

He helped me do our Christmas baking. He is an excellent baker.
And he also helped me wrap all our Christmas presents!
He grabs and pulls EVERYTHING. He discovered that it's really fun to pull at his own shirt.

He is such a crazy sleeper. I find him in all directions, corners, etc in his crib. One time he fell asleep with a death grip on the railing - he cracks me up!
He was a great driver on our road trip to WA for Christmas

He is also more mobile now. Not crawling yet, but he get anywhere he wants to by rolling. He's also started scooting himself a little bit, but more often he just kind of rolls and flops to inch himself closer to something. I'm okay with him not being that mobile yet....we are in trouble once he is! (and we are so not baby proof...we have nowhere to put stuff! Ah!)
He also loves to help us pick out movies to watch.
He is getting to be so much fun! His personality is showing through so much and he cracks me up all the time.

He thought this part of the wall was really fun one day. He rolled all the way across the room and stopped here for quite a while. I love this face.
