Calgary Trip Part 2

One day we went to Lake Sundance which is down the street from my parent's house. Hunter had a blast on the swings :)
poundin' it with uncle Josh
We played some tennis while Hunter played on the playground with his grandparents.
After a couple hours of playing at the lake we went home, had lunch, and put Hunter down for a nap. Dad, Josh, TJ, and I headed back over to the lake to go fishing!
We caught quite a few fish that afternoon, but this fish was the best one! This is a huge rainbow trout for Sundance lake. It was 22 inches long! The best part was how TJ caught it. One of the rods was broken and wouldn't cast out, but TJ didn't want to let it go to waste. He picked the ugliest lure he could find in the tackle box, put on a bobber, pulled out about 30 feet of line and chucked it out into the lake as far as he could! It sat there most of the time we were fishing until right before we were leaving. The bobber went under and TJ started reeling and it was the biggest fish of the day! Hilarious.
The little guy is a perch and they are trying to get rid of them in the lake so we had to keep it :)
We went over to my grandparents house and Hunter got to meet his great grandma and grandpa Blaxall for the first time!
Family dinner on the deck
Love this picture :)
Another day we went to the Calgary Corn Maze. They have all kinds of fun things to do like pig races, jumping pillows, slides, playgrounds, petting/feeding animals, a cow train, tractor bikes, corn mazes, etc. Here is our day in pictures
He thought it was hilarious to touch the goats. Made this face every time.
Feeding and chasing chickens :)
The corn maze had different stations to find with different colors to put on your fingers. When you were finished there was a board to tell you a silly thing to do based on the pattern of colors on your fingers. I think mine was hopping like a frog or something :)
Grandma was kind enough to ride the cow train with Hunter. Turns out it was quite the bumpy ride!
We also got pulled around by a big tractor for a ride!
Grandpa and uncle Josh had to work that day (boo) but Hunter sure loved playing with them when they got home! We loved being with family so much!
