The main reason we went up to Calgary was for my cousin's wedding! Jo is the only cousin my age (our birthdays are a week apart) and we were pretty close growing up. I am so glad we could be there for her special day, and her and Chad could not be more perfect together!
They were married outdoors in Fish Creek Park. It was a beautiful day and the ceremony was wonderful. I love seeing two people in love getting married! So happy!
This handsome little man looked extra handsome that day. This is the only picture we got of him!
This was their guest book! I love, love, love this idea! All the 'balloons' are thumbprints. They had the ink there and you stamped your thumbprint and wrote your name in it. If I could do my guestbook over again, I'd totally do something like this.
Having fun with Grandma at the reception :)
I seriously love this girl! She looked so beautiful! Her lace dress is her great aunt's from 75 years ago, how cool and awesomely vintage is that?! And her dress underneath is from a thrift store. She's awesome like that.
Hunter with his great grandma Hunter :)
And to randomly tack on the wedding post.....
Our road trip back home was mainly uneventful, especially compared to the way up ;) We stopped in Cardston to visit one of my highschool besties and her 2 little girls! I love Kalli so much. I wish we didn't live in different countries.
We drove past the Cardston temple
and we took the scenic route home :) It was so beautiful.
Until we got stuck behind this guy. We kept our distance....
....but we still managed to pick up this huge rock chip! Just our luck for that trip, it seems :)
We discovered Hunter's LOVE of french fries when we stopped for dinner.
And that was our trip! It only took me 3.5 months to blog about it.
