From Waterton we drove straight to Washington. It was quite the adventure getting over there! The route we were going to take through Logan's Pass was closed, but we didn't find that out until we got there. So we drove for an hour and a half just to find out we had to retrace our steps! Ugh. Haha. So we had to go back the way we came, cross the border again, and then start on a new route to Washington. We just laughed it off. So we crossed the border 3 times that day - twice within an hour. It was an adventure. We also encountered quite an accident in B.C. where a semi transporting cows had flown off the road and tipped over. So we had a few delays, but we made it!
We spent a night with TJ's brother Nic and sister in law Becki. Hunter loved picking berries in their backyard the next morning with cousin Jane.
Then we headed down to Chehalis! We LOVE being on the farm. Hunter especially loved getting to bale hay with Pops :)
Kendra (TJ's mom) and I were laughing at our husbands one night. TJ had a massive blood blister that popped on his toe and TJ's dad had 3rd degree sunburns on his legs. They were in so much pain and immobilized and it was pretty hilarious. I mean......we were being so sympathetic.....Hunter loved having his cousins to play with! Hunter and Mikey.
Hunter also LOVED going for rides on the quad and motorcycles.
He also loved taking US for rides ;)

I love being in Chehalis because there are so many fun things to do. We went frog hunting one night with spears and flashlights and got a bunch of frogs! I had been frog hunting with TJ once when we were engaged, but I didn't have a spear that time. This time around I speared my first frogs!! It was surprisingly really fun. Mmmmmm frog legs. Delicious!
Hunter was a great helper
Walking in the field :)
Playing with Riley was a highlight for this little boy
Wearing auntie Kaeli's boots
We did lots of fireworks over the 4th weekend. Hunter loved chasing after the parachutes!
Ok, the only thing I don't like about being in Chehalis is that my allerigies are CRAZY bad there. I wear goggles constantly because my eyes get so bad. Even then I can't spend too much time outside. But, if you were needing tips on how to be the coolest, best looking person in the summer time, here ya go. You're welcome.
We spent a night at the park with Mima and Kaeli.
TJ got to go fishing with his dad and caught this beauty of a steelhead!
TJ and I got to ride motorcycles together one afternoon and had a blast!
I even rode the 200 again! I can barely touch the ground with my tip toes on that bike so it kind of scares me to ride it, but I did it!!
When we were riding in the middle of the field I looked over at TJ and all of a sudden he stopped and whipped his helmet off. I had no idea what he was doing, so I rode over and he said a bee stung him!! It got sucked under the visor of his helmet and he couldn't get it off fast enough. He had taken his goggles off because they were shedding stuff on his face and it was getting in his eyes. And then he got stung by a bee. So we went back to the house and put some baking soda paste on his bee sting :)
White, red, and blue jumpers on the tramp on the 4th of July. Jane, Shelby and Hunter.
The kids loved all the fireworks!
We went kayaking after we did some fireworks for the kiddos. I didn't get any pictures on the river, but Hunter had a blast and was adorable in his little life jacket!
Mooching food from Pops
TJ's dad's friend has this pond that he stocks with fish and he let us take all the kiddos to fish there. It was so fun!! It's all catch and release, but we caught a whole bunch of fish!
"Reel, reel, reel!!"
We had a little pre-birthday party for Hunter and he thought it was pretty great! Props to Whit for making such a cool cake!
That was Chehalis! Next trip, coming soon :)
