8 months

Our little man is 8 months old! Time is sure flying by, and we're loving every minute of it.
He keeps us busy and makes us laugh every day. He is so much fun.
One of his favorite activities is standing while holding onto our fingers and bouncing up and down.
He can pull himself up from a sitting position. I've realized that there really isn't much in our apartment for him to pull himself up on...
He's still not crawling. He does a pretty awesome flop/reach/scoot thing. And rolls all over. He gets where he wants to be.
He started trying to push himself up on his knees, but he usually just ends up scooting backwards.
He continues to LOVE to eat. He now eats baby food 3 times a day. He's loved everything we've given him except green beans and peaches.

Here's our handsome little 8 month old!
He LOVES to eat! Pulls himself forward anticipating the next bite :)
Trying to pull himself up on his dino toy...haha.
...and Dad's feet!
Lookin' so handsome for church.

Some of his favorite toys are:
a container full of M&Ms
His socks. He loves to pull them off and wave them around so proudly, then proceed to put them in his mouth and play with them. This is the only pair of socks that stay on his feet. He can get them off, but he has a much harder time. He usually goes barefoot.
He thinks it's hilarious to balance things on his head. He's pretty good at it too!
He still loves wreaking havoc in our movies.
Waterbottles. They have always been a favorite of his, so a while ago I gave him his very own (my old water bottle) and he LOVES it!

He's also very talented with his feet/legs. He plays with things just as much with his feet as he does his hands.

The other day he got to play with Daddy's gatorade and he was in heaven.

Still loves the wipes case,

his poppin' dino,

and his rings!

Laundry basket + bumbo + blankets + rope = homemade sled! (so ghetto/redneck) Hunter loved it!
Hunter loves reading stories before bedtime.
He got his first valentines in the mail! He was quite excited.
He loves the diaper aisle! He always inhales/gasps and gets so excited. All those 'friends' on boxes!!
TJ and Hunter are buds. Hunter gets SO excited when his daddy comes home from work so they can play!
This boy keeps us laughing all the time. He is so sweet and silly and fun!
And he's stinkin' cute. Oh my goodness.
Happy 8 months Hunter Jay! We love you!!

7 months

Alright. I need to get my rear in gear. Seeing as Hunter has been 7 months for a while now I figured I should post......I actually wrote this when he was 7 months so I could remember what was happening then and not now, it just takes a minute to get all the pictures together. I'll shoot to actually post the 8 month blog within a week of him turning 8 months. {no promises :)}
My oh my, where does the time go?! 7 months of goodness :)
He got his first tooth!
No crawling yet, but he's scooting a little bit.
He inhales/gasps when he gets excited.
He loves to slap things repeatedly.
He started babbling "babababa."
Happy 7 months little man!
He loves eating! We started solids right after he turned 6 months. So far he loves rice cereal, sweet potatoes, carrots, pears, and applesauce.
The only thing he hasn't liked so far is green beans. I don't blame him, they smell nasty.
He also really likes his sippy cup.
The sign of a good meal - when it ends up all over the high chair, your face, hands, eyebrows, clothing, and in your hair.
Now that he has a tooth he thinks he can eat anything...
Uncle Josh came to visit! He loved playing with Hunter and we loved having him to hang out with!
While Josh was here we played quite a few games. Hunter was pro at playing Cribbage.
He loves bath time, and especially his rubber ducky.
I love a baby fresh out of the bath :)
This little boy loves playing with his daddy.
He loves tags. No matter how big or small a toy is, if it has a tag, he will find it!
He is a wonderful laundry helper.
He pulls this "scrunch" face all the time. Cracks me up.
He is a champ at sitting up.
He loves to stand and hold on to things. This picture is slightly deceiving - he usually falls to one side pretty quick.
He is a crazy sleeper! I find him in all corners and sides of his crib facing all directions. Here are a few samples: and yes, his bum is completely off the mattress and against the rails in this one!
He loves feet.
He loves getting into our movies.
Busted! ;)

Work hard, play hard. Most of the time we just focus on playing :)
Oh these cheeks..... :)
Loving the pillow Auntie Kaeli made him.
We'll end with this video of Hunter laughing. Best. sound. e.v.e.r.
